Caboolture Sports Club Group (CSC Group) set to open new Club in Caboolture

The Caboolture Sports Club Board have decided that the CSC Group will continue to operate a new community club out of the Haskings Street premises.

The new club, named Sports Central Caboolture, will open on Monday 28th September 2020 subject to Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) approval for the transfer of Liquor and Gaming licenses.

The Caboolture Morayfield and District Sub Branch will continue to meet and run their community service from the venue.

“It’s important that we respect and look after this long-standing community service,” commented CSC Group CEO Kelvin Patch.

“The CSC Group will provide the RSL Sub Branch with complimentary office space to help them continue to service the community.”

Although the news of the Caboolture RSL’s closure has come as a shock to all the RSL staff. The CSC Group have been working hard behind the scenes to support them. The majority of the existing RSL staff members will be re-employed by the new Club.

The CSC Group comprising of Caboolture Sports Club, North Lakes Sports Club, Centenary Lakes Sports Club & Function Centre, are excited to add a new venue under their belt to service the Moreton Bay community.

The CSC Group of clubs pays over $10 million in wages every year and puts over $1.9 million back into local sport and local community initiatives.

The new community club, Sports Central Caboolture will feature a Bistro, Café, Gaming Lounge, Bar facilities, and three Function Spaces. The club will also receive a small facelift before reopening to the public.

Caboolture RSL Club announces closure

The Caboolture RSL, a much loved community club, has announced its doors will shut on the 14th of September.

This message was posted on the Caboolture RSL Facebook page today;

Dear Members, Guests and Visitors,

It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we wish to inform you of the pending closure of the Caboolture RSL Club.

The Board of the Caboolture RSL Club have decided not to renew the lease of the current property at 1-3 Hasking Street, Caboolture.

The Caboolture RSL Club will continue to trade at the premises until Sunday, 13th September 2020.

The Caboolture Citizens and Services Club Limited
(Trading as Caboolture RSL Club) will not continue to trade beyond Sunday, 13th September 2020.

As of Monday 14th September 2020, Caboolture RSL Club will be closed.

Caboolture RSL Club Membership and associated cards will no longer be valid.

Members are invited to attend information sessions at the scheduled times below:

General Members – Thursday, 3rd September 2020 – 6.30pm
Social Members – Saturday 5th September 2020 – 10.30am
