Police are continuing the search for missing 74-year-old man, Michael Newbon.
Mr Newbon was last seen on the Heathland Street fire break, heading towards Banksia Beach at 9.30am on October 9.
Police would like to advise that while the SES land search was suspended, foot searches by police and the dog squad have continued with other organisations.
Additional land and air searches will continue into next week.
Mr Newbon is described being 180cm with a slim build and short grey hair, and is wearing a navy polo shirt, long navy trousers and black dress shoes.
