The yet-to-be opened Moreton Police District Headquarters, opened its door to the public for inspection.
PolAir kicked the open day off by landing on a makeshift landing pad at the back of the complex located on King Street, Caboolture.
Those in attendance grew to more than 2,000 – as MORETON District Officer Superintendent, Michael Brady took to the microphone and welcomed them.
“It is a great opportunity to open up our doors, so as the community can see the conditions and the building that we will be working out of, it’s (Moreton Police District Headquarters and police station) been a long time in the making,” Superintendent Brady said to the large crowd.
Later, an official Smoking Ceremony was conducted (see video for the full ceremony).
And to close the successful event, PolAir took to the skies and thanked Caboolture for hosting them.
